When you're looking at real estate online, you are likely comparing prices based on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms in the home. In that case, there is not all that much difference between what you can get in Mississauga and throughout Toronto. If you're interested in Leslieville Toronto homes, for instance, you will be paying around $420,000 for a two to three bedroom home design. In Mississauga the average cost is closer to $380,000. But, you should also check out the square footage of each property and the outdoor land that comes with it. Even a spacious place somewhere like 761 Bay will likely not include as much living space as its Mississauga equivalent.

If you're looking at condos, you are more likely to find a greater selection at different price points in Toronto than in Mississauga. But more does not always mean better. If you're part of a growing family or just looking for a place where you can stretch out a little more, you will probably want to stay in Mississauga. The larger you go with a home, the bigger the gap between prices in Mississauga and Toronto.
